The catalogue update
In this tutorial, we'll explain you how to do a catalogue update.
Manufacturers regularly update their datas, which are then provided by Carat in the form of a new catalog update.
Plans that have been created with an older catalog version of the manufacturer must then be brought to the latest catalogue status in order to be able to plan ahead with the latest data.
With the delivery of the newest version, CARAT has now extended the catalogue update.
Entries in your planning that deviate from the catalog standard of the articles, such as depth, width, height changes, but also other front modifications or text changes were simply overwritten with the default datas and you had to re-enter them in the updated version of your planning.
This was partly annoying because it often meant a lot of extra work for the planner.
With the new catalogue update function, these changes are now transferred as well.
